La Barquita, Dominican Republic

Day 1 of the project to finish the building dedicated to the residents of La Barquita, Dominican Republic. The week-long mission trip was designed to work with one of the teams on this building, which will serve as a church, school, and hurricane shelter for the community.

Showing "strength" with children in DR. The children were so kind and good-hearted. It was a joy to talk with the children throughout the week in Spanish and continue to learn the Spanish language.
